My recall work was done very early so that may be one of the reasons it's lasted so long. Right now I put a little over 100 miles a day on it.

I guess I should quit worrying as I'm approaching 180k! That's awesome!

2001 MDX w/ 250,000

My 2001 MDX just hit 250,000 with the original transmission still working very well. Acura had installed an injection kit during the recall but I have never had any major issues with the MDX. Great Vehicle

Two 2001 MDX, both at 160k miles, both on original transmission. No problem yet, but I do change the transmission oil quite often.

2003 - 141k miles
original tranny - no issues so far. Actually the only item that I have replaced is the starter. Still on original timing belt as well.

* Check out my oem carpet replacement thread

-Install external tranny cooler before your radiator blows out ($75).
-Fix rear A/C ($10)
-Fix Noisy power steering pump ($1)

Search for the FAQ tread, you'll find a lot of fixes there.

Should probably get that changed ASAP. The only prize you'll get for seeing how long the timing belt lasts is a destroyed engine.
