Question mdx 2003 dash board illumination problem

thanks a lot for your inputs ive decided to stick to my 2003 mdx for a while until i can get a cleaner lower mileage 2005 mdx with say 60-70k on it cos i agree that 111000k with no maintainance history is a big risk, which brings me to this 3 questions.
1-the climate control dashboard illumination lights works on and off at night, this could be frustrating as i have to put on the reading lamp in order to put on the ac or fan,i thought the bulbs are dead initialy but then i notice they come on sometimes, what could posibly be the couse.
2-my foglamps have dust inside the assembly how can i clean them out.
3-ma ac is not cooling well and the fan is noisy

Try this link for the dashboard lights.

I'm not sure if you can clean inside the fog lights , you might have to replace them.

The a/c , the gas might be low.
