2002 MDX Center Console power out

Hi,
I have a 2002 MDX. The power to my center console, Audio (radio, cd, etc) , cigratte lighter under the console and the ligher under the armrest all have lost power. I checked all the fuses (or so I think) and cant find what is wrong. the backlight on the radio, etc is on.

This happenend after a coin was dropped into the lighter socket.

How do I go about debugging this? I have checked all fuse that I could see.
Pl help!!!

thx

You've checked the passenger interior fuse box? Fuse #9.

Usually something being used by the socket makes it trip, like a cell phone.

Great illustration. On a separate note SBM MDX:

I have been having a hard time accessing the Driver's side under-dash fuse/relay box.

I can remove the nut, but cannot open/access the top and bottom tabs to the cover. Does the car have to be raised to get at it from a better angle.

Very awkward and difficult from the ground, even my 12yo son, who is a little more agile, could not get to it.

Anyways, the whole purpose was to replace the flasher relay (trying to slow down fast LED blinkers with this:

(1.25"x1.25" square, 3 prong flasher relay).

But according to the image if I'm not mistaken, looks like it's just a fuse in that space.

Did I waste $5 for the relay?

Never had mine out but according to the manual, the flasher is on the back side of the Driver's Under-dash box.

MDX_PWR:

Any luck locating the turn signal flasher yet ubder the Driver side wall yet?

I am trying to locate it too, the table said #10 is the relay but it looks like a fuse in the picture, try to open that dam.. fuse box at the very bottom to make sure but can't. What are those 2 little black square next to fuse #2 & 5??
