Dashboard squeaks passenger side.
My 2k3 X has developed a squeaking noise of the dashboard mounting in the corner right next to the windshield on the passenger side. It only occurs when driving on uneven surface so not end of the world. Does anyone have dashboard mounting diagram or some tutorial how get the mounts tight again?
Thanks |

Where do you live? If it's cold where you are (as it is here), wait until the weather warms up, and see if it goes away. That, and you don't want to go tweaking a cold dashboard.
An old trick we used to do back about 20 years ago, is to take a folded up towel, put it between the dash and the door, and close the door. That will shift the dash over very slightly, and eliminate it. But DON'T do that on a cold dashboard..... |

Hey Tim
I saw you response to similar threat about 2010 X with the same problem. Glad to know it may work on 2k3. I live in Jersey. Will give it a shot on a warm day or after a longer trip with heat on. Appreciate your help |
