Coil Spring booster
HTL Motorsport
It's great to see that you are fine tuning a MDX to deliver little more sportiness. I have few questions on your spring booster. Based on your feedback that spring booster improved the stability of the vehicle by increasing the load of the spring. Also, you mentioned that increased the ground clearance? is that true? How much ground clearance did you guys gained out of your installation. I see that you installed 2 spring booster on each spring (top and bottom). is that safe? I thought the application is designed just for one end? correct me if I am wrong. If this increase ground clearance can we use this for off road use? Not for rock crawling but for desert driving or forest back roads? I know you guys are not the manufacturer of the spring booster. If you have some experience or knowledge on this item please do share. Thanks for your time, and looking forward to see more upgrades to your MDX. Sam |

wagonrus, spring booster do not raise height (car slightly higher but not noticeable) it reduce free-play in the spring..thus give more respond to your suspension.... It's 100% safe..
If you want to raise up your mdx,, buy Pilot readylift kit..Interchangeable |

Looks nice! What chrome did you use? Love the exhaust upgrades too. If we did not live so far apart I would drop by!

Exhaust upgrades looks nice, but drone was way too much @ freeway speed even with a J-pipe added...it would drive me insane going long trip...
So i opt for the 04-06 stock muffler instead ! which originally route wanted to go anyways ! I Just did a full circle of exhaust mods... i use 1" chrome tape Silver Chrome Vinyl Tape 1" x 50 Feet Automotive Grade | eBay although i recommend 1 1/2 inch or so...1" too thin |
