Loud squeaking when coasting or braking
my 2001 mdx just started squeaking like crazy in the front passenger wheel area when ever I let off the gas and start coasting or even if I am braking it does not change the squeak. I thought maybe my brakes were in need of replacement, so I got them checked and they said the front brakes were really low and the front right one had reached the warning marker and was rubbing on it and that was the squeaking I was hearing. I changed the brakes myself with all new rotors as well and good ceramic brake pads. I greased all the guide pins and areas they say to grease. the front right pad was definitely thin and was rubbing the warning marker. I figured my squeak would be gone now. Its not. it does seem to be better, but not much. If i hit the gas it goes away, but as soon as I let off the gas, squeaks like crazy. the squeak is in proportion to the wheel speed. its a high pitch squeak when going fast and a lower pitch when getting down below 15mph. its very loud and very annoying. I have checked the backplates to make sure they arent rubbing the rotor anywhere and I cannot for the life of me see anything that should be rubbing. I am totally stumped. it definitely SOUNDS like the tin backplate is rubbing, but I dont see how it could be. its driving me crazy! any ideas?
also, it gets worse when i turn left.
