Probably the actuator. Does it make any sound at all?

if using the main control by the driver seat locks and unlocks every door except that one, it is probably the actuator. On my 04 that was the first one to go and it was replaced under warranty. I'm pretty sure ur out of the warranty. Yes you do have to remove the door to get to the actuator if that is what you think it is.

You would have to remove the door panel. The door itself can stay on the car.

It's fairly easy. There are two screws on the door (one by the handle and one by the pull handle (I think)). Then you need to remove the three screws around the speakers. Then pull from the bottom to release the clips and slide up and off.

My Front Passenger Door lock just stopped working as well.
I have already changed the rear one a few months ago. Is pulling off the panel any different than the rear? What about the tweeter speaker, do I need to remove it? The lock just failed last night and I haven't had alot of time to check it out yet. Oh, last time I just got the whole assembly, now I was thinking of just getting the ACTUATOR ASSY. Is #8 correct for the front passenger doo? http://www.oemacuraparts.com/parts-c...s-outer-handle -homer |

The pass side should be very similar. Yes just get the actuator accessory. the #8 looks right but make sure it is for the pass side b.c. the driver side is different, hence the 8 and the 29. Good luck! |
