Left Map Light & Left-Most Homelink Button Not Working

It's been a while, but one day both the buttons to activate the left Map Light (above the home link buttons) and the left-most homelink button stop working. The light still works when you open/close the door; however, it does not work when you try to click the light. The left-most homelink button does not work too; therefore, I cannot re-program any of the other buttons because you need to press both the outer button to program. The middle and right buttons still work on the homelink.

Any ideas? It seems the left side is somehow paralyzed.

Cut wire maybe? Doesn't sound like a fuse problem.

Any ideas how I can check? Do I take out the plastic piece and look underneath the light/button, or is the wire located somewhere else?

Will do, but if it's cut wire wouldn't all the buttons stop working completely and both the light and homelink button would not function?

Depends on how it's wired. If there are wires to each of the buttons and those wires are cut or worn, the buttons would not work. I'm not sure why they would be cut or worn but something is strange. Hopefully opening it up will shed some light (no pun intended).

Anyone has access to the service manual, can you assist with providing a capture of the manual on how to take the trim and surrounding area apart?
