Question shifter lights

2002 MDX shifter lights in dash only working sometimes. Anybody got idea why???

bulbs prob need to be replaced.

MDX shifter lights.

Bulbs seem to be okay as sometimes they all work and then sometimes not!!

Have you physical taken the cluster out and looked at it. I recently replace all my bulbs for the back lighting. As well as the AC backlight, giving them a tap made them light up. Till it would no longer come back on.

As stated, when they get tapped the filament makes contact and light for a while. I agree that changing the lamps will most likely take care of this. My center consul shift lights were doing the same thing.

I have a similar problem with the Radio in our X. Hit a bump at night and the lights go out, hit another bump and they come back on. This is on every single light on the radio.

I guess I am going to take it out and see what I can figure it out.
