Who has the most miles with the original tranny

335,000 on the original transmission. Like many other car and car brands, some go forever and some don't. Granted, the failure rate was a bit high on these, but I thought I saw a stat and less than 40% of 01 and 02 owners went through one transmission after the next. 380,000 km or roughly 240,000 miles on my 2003, original tranny .

My 2001 MDX just hit 250,000 with the original transmission still working very well. Acura had installed an injection kit during the recall but I have never had any major issues with the MDX. Great Vehicle

2002 MDX tranny died March 2013 at 264,xxx miles.

Two 2001 MDX, both at 160k miles, both on original transmission. No problem yet, but I do change the transmission oil quite often.

2003 - 141k miles
original tranny - no issues so far. Actually the only item that I have replaced is the starter. Still on original timing belt as well.

Should probably get that changed ASAP. The only prize you'll get for seeing how long the timing belt lasts is a destroyed engine.
