Navigation update ?

How can I update the map on my navigation system. I just bought a 2004 MDX with RES & NAV and the map is from 2004.

You have to replace the navigation DVD. The DVD player is located under the passenger seat.

If you're going to replace it, i'd suggest doing it now. They have a special going on until Jan. 31 and it's marked down to $99. Just got mine in the mail today.

Same here!

I saw another thread on it a few weeks ago and jumped on the opportunity. Were you still using the stock 04 disc like I was haha.

I wouldn't say I was using it..LOL It has pretty pictures though. I've been using my Garmin when I really need Nav. The MDX is my wife's car and she still calls and asks me how to get around town.

Is there a big different between the disk and does the image quality change as well?

Hahaha. Same here, it got me lost one too many times so I relied on my Droid. I'm going to use it now for at least a year or so.

I have an HTC EVO and I love the navigation on it. The image quality is a lot better than the one in my acura.

I bet! The screen on the Evo is freakin' huge. I still have the Droid 1 but the nav is fantastic on it as well.
