Air Vent Clips missing
Does anyone know where I can get the clips that turn and close the air vents in the MDX? I am missing 3 in the front. I only noticed 1 week after I purchased my X 4 weeks ago. Here is a picture of what I mean. I have Paypal and would transfer $$$ asap for parts and shipping.
Would be nice to have clips for cool air from AC this summer. IF we have one! It was still snowing today here! ![]()

The clips commonly break off and you can not buy them separate. You have to replace the entire vent. Mine is still under the factory warranty and had the passenger side replaced as well as one of the center (the entire trim place must be replaced as the vents are not sold separately.

Yup, you need to buy the whole vent, and its not cheap. The only fix for broken ones was using super glue to put them back together, if still had the piece.

I have the 2 center clips missing on my 04, so I googled this problem and found a solution from a another MDX owner. Instead of replacing the whole vent,($150.00, OUCH!) they make air fresheners that are actually clips you stick into the vents. All that shows is the very end, not very noticeable at all. They cost like $2.50 for 4 and they move the inside part of the vent as well as the outer,(up and down)slats. I think I will try this and see how I like it. Worth a try! I'll post back and give an update.

I got the face of the vents from Acura for like 40 bucks for the right side outer (by the window) and the left side was only like 30 bucks. I actually ordered the left side, but they gave me the right side, then had to re-order the left side. So have I have a right side vent that is up for sale. 20 bucks plus shipping buys it.
