The best way to compare is to see what the dealer pays. The best you can usually do is somewhere around $300-1000 over dealer cost.

The dealer cost on a 2013 Advance is dealer invoice ($48,901) minus holdback ($1,058) minus dealer incentive ($2,500), or $45,343. So you ought to be able to get one for somewhere around $46,000, give or take a couple hundred.

Keep shopping around, and keep negotiating.

You can find the dealer invoice and dealer incentive numbers on Edmunds. And the holdback has been 2 percent of MSRP for years.

Thanks for all the reply I was able negotiate little bit more to get the car for $47500 +T&L that includes roof rail bars. The problem in MN is we just have 3 dealers and only has MDX Adv in stock

Also I called my insurance company and they added GAP insurance to my existing policy for $10/Yr

Thought I would share that if anyone is interested.
