Gdamn $236? Mine IIRC is 175. But I am def going to cancel. Have unlimited data ( grandfathered) Plus I rather throwing in a MP3 disc, than hear that horrible audio quality from Sirius XM.

I got an offer to renew each unit for the same as last year's w/c is $94.43 otd. I declined and I mentioned the $25/ 6 mos but I was offered $25/ 5 mos instead($26.41 otd). I took the latter promo.

Same offer (5 months @ $30.11 w/paper bill) exists but ONLY if you state you would like to cancel service and then go through two other offers ($105 & $96 for 1yr XM select). Would not give $60/yr deal but this is almost as good. DO NOT give these bozos your CC number, they will auto renew you at full rate which is near $200!

Does the real time traffics and weather comes with the XM? or we have to pay additional for those 2?

You have to pay additional...I did not find them very useful during the free trial a few years back though I am not in a 'big market' city. My smart phone does a much better job on the weather.

XM is not for everyone...honestly if I had a newer MDX where I could load the internal HD up with hours of music I would not re-subscribe to XM. I guess I'm too lazy to make & load CDs into my 6 disc changer to enjoy a variety of music anywhere I go. LOL

You know what scrapsz, somewhat I do agreed with you but, I love to listen to music while I'm driving, and XM do have some good songs, I'm not going to lie about that, and yet for $60 per a year, it's not bad but, not a good way spend money on, since I'm not a everyday driver.

Same promo as last year $25/5mos=$27.92 otd. We're happy with it.
We have the option to stream w/ pandora but it's just a hassle plugging the smart phone to the X's aux every time we get in/out of the vehicle. It's just convenient to push the xm stations.....

Thread resurrection!

Has anyone received any decent deals lately? I just received a call (XMS Canada) and the best they would offer was $107.94 +tax for 12 months. I declined as I have another 6 weeks left...

I've had XM since 2002 but recently canceled my last two accounts from our daily drivers. They called several times with cheaper and cheaper deals. The latest was 6 months for $14. They asked at what price I would be interested and I told them I wouldn't take it if they gave it to me for free. They haven't called back.

Wow.. I thought I got a decent deal - $18.99 for 3 months (rather than 107.94 for 12)... they are not nearly as aggressive in Canada. Though I doubt I'll renew after that.. I was debating this time, but for the $20...
