Air Vent Ratcheting Sound
2006 MDX - ratcheting sound from air vent system when temperature is adjusting. The blower and recirculating fans have been replaced under warranty by the dealership. Computer is not issuing any error codes. Anyone experienced the same issue; if so, what component is causing it? Any information will be appreciated.

Air mix motor.
I imagine if you set the temp to full cold or full hot, the noise goes away.

Yes, the ratcheting sound does stop when temperature adjustment is set at maximum high or maximum low. There have been instances when lowering it just 2 degrees will stop the sound, as well as setting the blower fan on maximum for 10-20 seconds.
