2014 Acura MDX Prototype Teased, Heading to 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Acura has announced that it’ll be heading to the 2013 Detroit Auto Show with a prototype of its next-generation MDX SUV model. The new SUV from the Japanese automaker will share much of its DNA with the all-new RLX model and will come standard with a V6 engine sourced from the flagship sedan. What isn’t yet clear is if it will also be available with the company’s new Sport Hybrid Super Handling AWD system, utilizing a hybrid gasoline V6 engine at the front axle and twin electric motors at the rear wheels, it produces 370 hp in the upcoming RLX.
