TSB for CANADA?

HI Guys,

Downloaded all the TSB for my 07 MDX Elite. ONly to find out that Acura Canada does not honor US TSB (didn't realize there was a difference). Anyone have a list of the Canadian TSB?

there are two threads for this.

There was one for the end caps on either side of your dash console where the caps would warp slightly and not sit flush.
I think there is one for the mirrors not working properly when you put the MDX into reverse. I can't remember if it had to do with the actuator.

I had both mirror actuators replaced this month. There is a US TSB (09-047)for this, but I just mentioned to the Service Manager that I understood there was a TSB on this problem.

(The dash end piece replacement TSB is 08-039.) I also have had both rear shocks replaced due to the suspension bottoming out. (TSB 08-038)

got a letter for for one recently (torque converter transmisson software update) but also heard there is a power steering one now too for us canadians

There is nothing to "honor" in a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB). A TSB is a notice from Acura to dealers about how to fix a problem. Some people mistakenly confuse it with a recall. A recall is a campaign in which Acura contacts owners about a problem so that they can bring their cars in for a free fix/upgrade.

Since a TSB is just instructions about how to fix a problem, it does not necessarily mean that the problem will be fixed for free. So there is nothing to "honor"; you may still need to pay for the problem described in the TSB to be fixed, unless your car is still covered under warranty.
