aftermarket memory seat, is it possible?

I have read the various discussion thread on this great website regarding premium model vs touring. The only items that seem to valuable to me in the touring package is the driver side memory seat and the passenger side power seat. Is there absolutely no way to add a driver side memory seat after the purchase of a car? Or does it simply cost too much?

Thanks for all your great posts on this website to help potential buyers make their decision.

An extra power seat might be possible, but memory capability requires an additional switch assembly (3 switches) and the programming module. The side mirrors are also involved in the process. Not to mention any wiring harness differences.

As my contactor, who built our home like to say:

"Maam, ANYTHING is possible."

At which point, I'd say "Honey, let's discuss this later."

Anyway, regarding the seats: I seem to recall that even the drivers power seat is different on the touring versus base- the toruing has position sensors along with the motor to allow the system to find a stored position... so even if yuou could get the modules, and wire them properly, the seat is probably $500?

Although, it IS easier than adding NAV
