Pretty sure I saw a 2014 MDX
It was being tested on I-70 outside of St. Louis earlier this week. Hard to get pics since it was at night but we took turns leading for about an hour or so. It was all swirlies anyway and had Alabama tags. Whoever was driving wouldn't go above 80 and only floored it once that I can remember.
It definitely had the RLX's LED headlights, they look awesome, three lights on each side that really illuminated the road. The new tail lights were a dissappointment, they weren't the LED array of the 2nd gen, they had the LED bar look like the newer german vehicles have. I tried getting a good look of the rear diff, but I couldn't tell what was back there. It's wide like the 2nd gen, didn't seem much longer, may be a touch lower as well. Had the same mirrors as the 2nd gen and the body lines definitely stuck to the 2nd gens theme as well. Tires were definitely wider as well, 275s at least.

Seeing this and other spy shots of a production-ready 2014 MDX makes me think they'll introduce it this spring. Also the fact that the 2013 MDX is a total carryover not meant to last a whole year. In the new Acura magazine, it makes a point to mention making a splash at the car shows-- Detroit Jan 14-27 and Chicago Feb 9-18. LA is this month and the new RLX intro has already been announced, possibly the 2015 NSX also. So maybe MDX for Detroit? At the latest, NY in April. No facts yet, just my prediction.

That looks good. Reminds me of a Audi. I do like that the tailgate lights are illuminated and not just for looks like the current generation.

Good catch.
Seems like production is closer to beginning since Acura has moved production of the MDX to Alabama. That could explain the license plates. And, it's good to see that Acura finally went the way of LED license plates lights. I must say, even with the camouflage, this does look promising.

Looks like it. One of the other spy pics didn't have the dual exhaust either. They may not have all the parts together yet.....it looks like you can see a lot more chassis than you should. I would expect more rear spoilers/finishers for production.

It's the rear diff, no idea how to tell if it's powered by the engine or an electric motor though, anyone have pics of the RLXs?
There were no visible tailpipes or even cutouts for them in the bumper, so they're probably still trying to figure out how they want to run the exhaust and have it finish with the bumper cutouts.

With Acura seaching for an identity and sales floundering, they better get the new MDX right. Heck, the only difference I could find between a 2010 MDX and a 2013 is that the windshield washer nozzles on the hood are now black instead of body color! That's FOUR model years without any change whatsover, including engine size/performance, powertrain, physical, dimensions, exterior and interior color choices, etc.

Wow, I just looked at pics of the RDX, that looks like crap, hopefully the MDX doesn't do it that way. I haven't seen a bimmer with those in at least a decade, not sure if MB still has any like that either.

Let's hope this time we get serious power delivery...and a better fuel economy too would be great....purchased a 2012 Chevy Silverado crew cab 5.3 V8 for my company and each time i drive back into the mdx....power now feels like a shy Honda Crv after i get to ride the Chevy V8...!!!!
LolBut i sure miss the creature comfort of the mdx in the Chevy 4x4 V8...! Come on Acura...you want our cash...and we want the best SUV ever....period..!
