Think I will try the maxfloor mats as well. My wife's 2008 mdx came with oem all weather mats and they have a hole worn through where the right foot heel sits. I would get these in a heartbeat with the warranty to replace if wear through occurs.

It is very uncommon and frankly a bit of an effort to put a hole in the OEM all weather mats unless one is wearing high heels all the time or heals with sharp metal guards/exposed nail tips.
I would take it with a grain of salt comments like putting a hole in the OEM mats ...... YMMV

Same here. I have used the OEM all weather mats for 6 years and they are still great. Maybe it is the shoes that need to be updated?
