Post 2008 MDX OBD II USB Interface and Software for Mac?

I just found the diagnostics port for the maintenance crew to use to perform diagnostic checks on the car. I know that there is a cable I can purchase so I can maybe modify the car (I will not try to mess with anything if I don't know what it does). WHat type of mods can I do with it? Can I take off the disclaimer for the nav system? Where can I buy the cable that will get the job done and not be expensive? Also, what software can I download for the cable for a Mac?? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

OBD2 has nothing to do with NAV. You need to change something in the NAV software. If you dont know what "cable" you are looking for, its probably best to do more research. You could do alot of damage if you dont know what you are doing. Are you taking about ECU reprogramming?

No, sorry I wanted to know if there was any way to modify the NAV system to bypass that disclaimer you have to acknowledge each time the car starts. Or any other minor modifications to the NAV. I have heard that you can do this through the OBD port located under the driver's side dash.
