We recently purchased a 2005 MDX fully loaded with 30k miles. Last week the dealer did the big 30k mile service and we had the battery replaced as it was faulty and kept going flat.
When we drove it home from the dealer yesterday everything was fine but today the radio and nav screen will not turn on. I checked the fuse box and everything looks ok. The "Anti-theft" flashing red light is always flashing even while you're driving, is this normal? We've trying pressing the on button with no luck. Reverse camera doesn't come on in reverse, nav, dvd radio, everything just won't turn on. Any ideas? I hope we haven't purchased a lemon! |

Moving to the Audio and Electronics Folder
Hopefully you can get some help there.
I thought that head an anti-theft code that had to be entered, after a battery failure? Good Luck, I'm confident someone will chime in with the right information! Randy B

Thanks Randy.
Yes, normally after a battery change the system prompts you for a code. The dealers have done this part already however now when we turn it on basically nothing happens. Hopefully someone will have an answer. thx |

The continuously flashing anti-theft light is not normal. Perhaps when the battery was changed, something got messed up with the NAV system electricals. Sounds lik you need to take it back to an Acura dealer.
