P1740, no CEL, not persistent. Should I be worried ?
The Check Engine Light is NOT on, but there is a DTC set. Its P1740 . I just happened to catch it when I was connecting my OBD scanner.
I have reset it for now, and it hasn't come back yet (ok since yesterday and 25 miles later). Now should I be worried about this ? Its a transmission code (4th clutch). What is confusing to me is that there was no CEL. What is that supposed to mean ? I just happened to catch it! Who knows how long its been sitting there ?!

It might be a sign of things to come. But usually if the code doesnt throw a CEL, it isnt major. Just check it every now and then to see if it comes back. If you arent really feeling any physical effect, I would just let it go.
