Fuel Fill Door Adjustment

The fuel fill door on my 2008 is migrating aft. Is this something I can adjust, or is it a job for the dealership?

Mine has the same problem, can't open it when temperature drop, and in Canada the temp always drop. If someone can find he solution please help

He's talking about the alignment of the door, not about it being stuck and not opening.

If you have trouble opening the door in cold weather, it sounds like you need the fix in Technical Service Bulletin 07-058, assuming yours is a 2007-2008. Check out these two links:

Just did first refuel on 2013 MDX. Immediately noticed door was not flush and scrapes along aft edge when closing it. It's like you took a pic of mine. Going to take a closer look this weekend.

I called the dealership regarding this problem and was referred to a body shop.

The body shop said there was no way to adjust the door and it would have to be replaced.

The arm the the fuel fill door is attached to costs $45. The dealership would want $180 to install it (this does not sound like a DIY job).

At this point I'm inclined to live with the problem
