I have the 3M product on two cars right now & love it. We live in an area w/ a lot of gravel trucks on the roads along with salt trucks all winter. I tend to keep my cars pretty well detailed & the stuff is a great investment IMO. I find that if I keep it waxed, bugs & grime are easier to get off than when they're on the regular paint.

It is a good investment to protect against rock chips. I have had it on two vehicles. Keep it waxed with your vehicle. If you have white, you may see some slight yellowing over time. All other colors should not be an issue.

I've had it on my last 3 cars and wouldn't be without it.
Removed it from a previous car because looked like it had been sandblasted from the highway miles (it had been on for 6 years). Underneath looked like brand new. |
