Ahem, OP posted the $350 price on 4/28/11. If prices can daily, weekly, monthly, then they've certainly changed since the 20 months when the OP first posted.

You're going to have a tough time buying new genuine OEM parts and accessories for significantly less than the guy below sells them for. He's currently selling the sport running boards for $445.48 (part number 08L33-STX-200F). Don't forget to use his coupon codes for reduced shipping. Give him a call and see what he can do for you.

I can vouch for the great customer service of oemacuraparts.com. I just ordered some accessories for my 2013 MDX and the rear cargo cover was cracked on one end during shipping. I called them up to let them know about it and they shipped me another one the very next day and included a pre-paid return label for the damaged one. I didn't have to sing and dance, send proof, etc. A simple phone call and it was all taken care of. I will be a repeat customer. :-)

^No doubt wrestrepo, good advice for buyer beware on Ebay.
That said, this seller's 100% rating, history selling Acura running boards (sport & advance), and providing OEM part numbers provide a good foundation of legitimacy. This, combined with a DIY effort looks to be a $500 savings from say a dealer purchase and install. I'll post back an update once the item is in hand. |

Even nervous nellies can rest easy. Confirmed these Sport Running Boards are OEM from Curry Acura in Scarsdale, NY. The free shipping would have been worth it on such a large, 40 lb box, let alone the price.
I am also pleased buying parts from oemacuraparts.com and the LED kit from Fab. Thanks all. |

![]() I also bought my set of the sport running boards on eBay from Curry Acura Part - great people to deal with. Check out their website if you haven't already. You can email or call them and see if they will cut a deal for you, usually they will knock a few bucks off. Still enjoying the 2013 vs. 2007? I'm still on the fence about the trade. |

No doubt an air wrench would have made the 48 undercarriage bolts a bit easier and less time consuming. A lift would have kept me off a frozen garage floor. Plus I cannot be the only person that hates those plastic trim clips, quite the knuckle busters.
That said, I needed the therapy after attending that broncos double OT loss the day earlier. My wife absolutely loves her new 13 and swears it is a leap beyond her 07. Your trade looked like a good deal, though I'm sure it isn't an easy call. I am still a bit amazed that the 07's with 65k can garner half or more of purchase price, |

Premium Running Boards - Perhaps easier to install?
When I was at the dealership last week trying to hammer out a final deal for a new MDX there was one on the showroom floor with the Premium Running Boards installed.
So I got on the floor to look at how they are mounted to the car. ![]() From what I could see those look like a piece of cake to install. There is no interaction with the wheel wells or mud guards. There are just a handful of easily accessible bolts to attach the running boards to the undercarriage. Can anyone confirm that these are as easy as it looks to install compared to the Sport Running Boards? If they are that much easier, I'll pay the extra $50 for them and move on with my life, saving the hassle of 3-4 hours on the ground. |
