Lightbulb A more substantial grill guard...?

Been hovering for a while. Thought I'd finally post.
Just traded in my 96 Trooper (original owner) with ARB bullbar. I loved that car, but it was time...
Now that I'm settled into my "new" 05 Aspen white pearl Touring/nav MDX with Uhaul tow, I've come to a conclusion:
We need a more substantial grill guard made available. Something that resembles the "Lower Trim" dealer option but that's steel, powder-coated and frame-mounted. Kinda like what you can get on a Range Rover.
I've been surfing looking for one, but the only one that's even close is the Manik. But I don't want those headlight surround thingies.
Has anyone found something more beefy? More like a pushbar?
Hope y'all post...
Thanks.

I'm still hunting all over the web, and I've been looking thru the archives here. Seems like everyone has given up.
Is it possible that a push bar or bull bar made for, say, the Honda Pilot would work for the X?
Something like what Range Rover offers is what I'm after:

What if we as a group could approach ARB and have them fabricate a steel front bumper that conformed to the front end, and had an integrated push bar like the above?

Might be cheaper to buy the manik and just remove what you don't want...

ARB calls this one a Sahara bar:
I emailed them today to see if this is possible for us...

Phins2rt, thought about that. In fact, still thinking about it. Just need to do a little of this to it...

I went through the same thing when I moved to D.C. and had to find a bumper protector for my X. I tried the Tal & Hadas first and that didn't work out too well. Take a look here.

Then I went with the Manik, not because I thought it was the best looking one, but mainly because I wanted it to actually protect the front bumper. It did just that, and extremely well I might add.

Now that I've moved back down south where people use commone sense and decency when parking, I no longer need my Manik Grill Guard or the brand new extra one I have out in the garage. If you're interested in buying one of them let me know.

I have them for sale on this board at this link.

If they aren't gone by this weekend, I'm putting them on eBay.

The reason you don't have any takers, I think, is cuz a new one can be had for around $525.
I've just started talking to some local steel fabricators to see how much a custom push bar would cost. I'm after simplicity and sturdiness...
Also just found out that a company called Onki makes something similar to Manik but in stainless and their price is $800 or so.

Actually, I just sold one. And as far as a new one, Manik quit making them so the extra new one that I have will be quite hard to find.

ARB responded. They said we would have to have at least 25 people interested in their bullbar before they would manufacture one for us.
Any takers?
I'm gonna post another thread too...
